1. Facebook will be ranking Facebook LIVE videos higher than recorded videos.

According to Facebook, it has discovered users enjoy 75% more live video than previously recorded video or video clips. Therefore, Facebook will be ranking video higher in your personal News Feed. There’s definitely merit to this as think about the excitement you feel when you are watching a live video streaming from the location versus a recorded event. The opportunity to not only hear and see the event as it goes live but also to interact with the author, expert or celebrity via comments. One person I really love to interact with is Mari Smith and her live videos.

2. Facebook LIVE Video will be coming to Android

Users on iPhone have already had the chance to user Facebook LIVE since 2015 while Droid users have patiently (and impateitnly) waited for it to arrive. Right now the only way it works on most Droids is via Facebook Mentions (for which you have to have a offical verifeid page). So watch for Facebook LIVE coming to your phone if you’re a Droid user in the coming weeks. Fingers crossed!

3. Facebook Instant Articles on WordPress

Facebook’s fast-loading Instant Articles have been slowly rolling out, but on April 12th every publisher will be able to create articles using the special format. Facebook is now making it even easier for small WordPress blogs to offer their content in Instant Articles. The social networking giant has worked with a small number of WordPress users and Automattic (parent company of WordPress) to test a new plugin that creates Instant Articles.

a free option for all WordPress users in time for the broader launch of Instant Articles in April. WordPress users that use standard WordPress templates will be able to activate the plugin immediately to create Instant Articles, but more customized WordPress blogs may need to extend the plugin to support extra features

Facebook’s ultimate goal is to keep you — the -reader — on Facebook as long as possible. i alsready has been rolling out other news articesl to be viewable in Facebook without having to launch to another website. Now Available on iPhone and Android
Thousands of Instant Articles are published on Facebook each day and are available to everyone who uses Facebook on iPhone and Android. Look for Instant Articles daily from these publishers and more. Ny times, buzz feed, the guardian, and more.
